Event Curation
I am passionate about curating engaging workshops and events for a broad range of client briefs and audiences.
I am particularly experienced in producing experiences and spaces that explore the intersection between wellness and creativity.
My own practice as an artist and workshop facilitator gives me a uniquely valuable expertise into what makes a successful workshop and bags of insight about what participants enjoy.
I pride myself on devising programmes that are inspiring, creative, inviting, and accessible. I’ve worked with a broad breadth of clients and audiences including communities, creatives and corporates.
Head & Hands
Head & Hands:
Slow crafts and self care workshop series
An engaging public programme of slow craft and mindful making workshops promoting mental wellbeing inviting a range of practitioners from florists to herbalists, print-makers to natural dye and textile artists. These workshops take place in community spaces, wellness centres, workplaces, and at festivals.
Head & Hands programme was proudly featured in The Community Mental Health Care Framework by The Royal College of Psychiatrists as an example of positive and innovative practice in the community.
The Collective
The Collective:
Spaces that foster human connection and enable people to lead more fulfilling lives.
A vibrant cultural events programme, devising experiences spanning wellness, creativity, self-development, sustainability and play from concept to delivery across multiple sites.
The Collective’s varied event programme is the living breathing manifestation of the brand’s core value 'Be More Together', inviting connection, curiosity and creativity.
Most Curious Wedding Fair
Most Curious Wedding Fair:
The biggest indie bridal event in the UK
A packed weekend programme of carefully curated workshops and experiences to complement this trend-setting event and its creative exhibitors, fashion catwalk and wonderous installations.
The workshops were designed with style-savvy wedding couples in mind, to inspire DIY details for an unforgettable wedding day. This included calligraphy, sign-writing, embroidery, natural dye, and dried-flower arranging.
I also hosted a lively panel discussion titled Wedding Pioneers - celebrating weddings that beautifully intersect traditional and non-traditional approaches to marriage. We talked about queerness, gay rabbis, inter-continental multi-day spectaculars, rituals, family illness, loss, mixed heritage ceremonies and feminism.
